Diamond Sharpening
Diamond sharpening tools are made of thin metal plates that have tiny industrial diamonds fixed to their face and they work in a similar way to sharpening stones. The diamonds are harder than any other type of sharpening stone, whether natural or synthetic. The main advantages of using diamonds stones over other sharpening stones are that they are particularly quick at sharpening and they retain their flat surface much more easily than other stones. Here, we supply a comprehensive range of solid diamond whetstones that can be used on a wide range of tools to sharpen, deburr, or hone them. Our diamond stones will typically achieve an edge in just three or four light strokes and can work up to 98% quicker than traditional sharpening stones. We recommended regularly honing router cutter edges regularly before they become dull to reduce the need for excessive honing or a professional re-sharpen.
