A jig for routing out recesses, apertures and radii in worktops to fit a range of hobs and sinks, as well as to suit curved cabinets.
Can cut both an internal and external radius using either pins or engraved sight lines.
Can cut a 90 degree angle, which when combined with the straight slot will enable a hob or sink aperture to be routed. Central slot permits cuts up to 820mm long.
The radius curves at 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 150mm and 250mm intervals, and has external radii of 50mm, 100mm and 200mm.
Jig features a 45 degree end cut , as well as 26mm and 35mm cabinet door hinge recess facility.
Engraved lines help to place jig to marked position on the worktop.
The six radius curves are each paired with a set of peg holes that will set the jig to work top edge.
Pins made out of ABS plastic for strength.
Jig needs:
A portable plunge router with shank capacity of 12.7mm (1/2 inch) and 1300 watts minimum.
A template guide bush with 30mm O.D. (outside diameter).
A TCT router cutter measuring 12.7mm (1/2 inch) diameter and 50mm (2 inch) cut length.
Two throat clamps.
